Terms of Use
Last updated September 20, 2026.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use are a contract between you and NexusOX ("we," "us"). By using this website or sending a form, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Employers who ask for candidates also agree to the Hiring Agreement. If the Hiring Agreement and these terms disagree, the Hiring Agreement wins for employer fees.
2. Who can use NexusOX
You must be at least 18 and able to make a legal contract. If you use the site for an organization, you promise you are allowed to agree for it.
3. What NexusOX is, and is not
- We introduce peer helpers to employers. We are not the employer of any peer helper we introduce. Employers make their own hiring choices and are responsible for pay, supervision, background checks, workplace rules and following employment laws.
- We do not promise that a peer helper will get a job, or that an employer will find someone to hire.
- We check that certificates are real when we share a candidate. We do not promise anything else about a candidate, such as their work quality. Employers should do their own interviews and checks.
- We are not a treatment program, health care provider or crisis service. If you or someone else is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). In an emergency, call 911.
4. Cost
Using NexusOX is free for peer helpers. Employers pay only under the Hiring Agreement. We never charge peer helpers a fee to get a job.
5. Your information must be true
You promise that what you send us is true, belongs to you or you have permission to share it, and does not include health or recovery history. We may refuse or remove anyone who gives false information, including a fake or expired certificate.
6. Referral partner rules
- You earn $50 when an employer who first reached NexusOX through your personal link hires someone through us and pays its placement fee in full. We pay within 30 days after that payment.
- If two partners refer the same employer, the first link used gets credit.
- You may not refer yourself or your own organization, use spam, fake reviews, paid ads using the NexusOX name, or say anything untrue about NexusOX.
- You are an independent partner, not our employee or agent. You are responsible for your own taxes. We may ask for a W-9 before paying.
- We may change or end the program, or remove a partner who breaks these rules, at any time. Rewards already earned under these rules will still be paid.
7. Things you may not do
- Break any law or use the site to discriminate against anyone
- Collect other people's information from the site or contact candidates to avoid our fee
- Try to hack, overload or copy the site, or use bots to send forms
- Pretend to be someone else
8. Our content
The NexusOX name, logo, text and design belong to us. You may link to our site and share your referral link, but you may not copy our site or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you without written permission.
9. No warranties
The site and service are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that are not written in these terms, including promises that the site will always work or be error-free.
10. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, NexusOX is not responsible for indirect, special or lost-profit damages, or for anything an employer or peer helper does or does not do. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid NexusOX in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
11. Your responsibility
If you break these terms or the law while using NexusOX, and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including lawyer fees.
12. Settling problems
Please email kayandallc@gmail.com first, and we will try to fix it within 30 days. If we cannot, the laws of the State of Maryland apply, and any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland, except that either of us may use small claims court if the claim qualifies.
13. Other terms
- If a court finds part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still apply.
- If we don't enforce a rule right away, we can still enforce it later.
- These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Hiring Agreement are the whole agreement about the site.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
