Privacy Policy

The short version: We only collect what we need to match peer helpers with jobs. We never sell your information. We never ask about your own recovery or health. You can ask us to see, fix or delete your information at any time by emailing kayandallc@gmail.com.

1. Who we are

NexusOX ("we," "us") runs this website and a service that connects certified peer recovery specialists with employers. For any privacy question or request, email kayandallc@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

From peer helpers

Name, email and phone
Certificate type, number, state and the board that issued it
When you can work

From employers

Organization name, contact name, work email and phone
Job details (state, hours, certificate needed, number of openings)
That you accepted the Hiring Agreement, and when

From referral partners

Name, email, organization and your referral code

Automatically

The page you sent a form from, the time you sent it and any referral code in the link
Basic technical data our hosting provider records to keep the site running and safe, such as IP address and browser type

3. What we do not want

Please do not send us health, medical, treatment or recovery history information about yourself or anyone else. Our forms do not ask for it and we do not need it. If you send it anyway, we will delete it when we notice it. NexusOX is not a health care provider or treatment program.

4. How we use information

To check certificates with the board that issued them
To match peer helpers with jobs and send employers candidate information
To answer you, send automatic confirmation emails and follow up on requests
To send invoices, collect placement fees and pay referral rewards
To keep records of agreements and to protect our legal rights
To keep the site secure and working

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Who we share it with

Employers, only after a peer helper has agreed on our form, and only the details needed to consider them for a job
Certification boards, to confirm a certificate
Service providers that help run NexusOX: Cloudflare (website hosting), FormSubmit (delivers form messages to our email), Google (email and website fonts) and Stripe (payments). They may only use it to provide their service to us.
The law: if a valid law, court order or government request requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights
A new owner, if NexusOX is sold or merged, under the same promises in this policy

6. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card or bank numbers. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the information you give it.

7. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you arrive through a partner's link, your browser saves that referral code so the right partner gets credit. It stays only on your device, and you can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.

8. How long we keep it

We keep candidate and request information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and agreement and payment records for as long as tax and business laws require (usually 7 years). Then we delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what information we have about you and give you a copy
Fix information that is wrong
Delete your information
Stop sharing your profile with employers

Email kayandallc@gmail.com with your request. We will confirm who you are and answer within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Depending on where you live (for example California, Maryland, Virginia or Colorado), state law may give you more rights, and you may appeal our decision by replying to our answer. If you are not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.

10. Keeping information safe

We use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, limit who can see your information, and use trusted providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything you are not comfortable sharing. If a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

11. Age limit

NexusOX is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email kayandallc@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will post a notice on the site or email people who use our service.
